Transmission projects are interconnected to the large overhead powerlines that serve as the grid's "electrical highways." Due to the size and voltage of these power lines, the projects themselves must also be large in their size and scope.
They typically require at least 200 acres of total land and proximate access to an overhead transmission line. These projects vary in size depending on location, utility, and line voltage. At Delafield Energy, we help landowners turn their properties into long-term revenue generators.

ELIGIBILITY
For your land to be eligible for development, it must:
- * Transmission: Minimum of 200 acres of contiguous land
- * Access to power lines and/or a utility substation
- * Generally free of wetlands, and floodplains
- * Grade of 15% or less
